- Being enthusiastic is worth 25 IQ points.
- When you give away 10 % of your income, you lose 10 % of your purchasing power, which is minor compared to the 110 % increase in happiness you will gain.
- Don’t be the best. Be the only.
- Forgiveness is accepting the apology you will never get.
- Be more generous than necessary. No one on their deathbed has ever regretted giving too much away. There is no point to being the richest person in the cemetery.
- You really don’t want to be famous. Read the biography of any famous person.
- It is not a compliment if it comes with a request.
- Compliment people behind their back. It’ll come back to you.
- Show me your calendar and I will tell your priorities.
- Ignore what others may be thinking of you because they aren’t thinking of you.
- To manage yourself use your head; to manage others use your heart.
- No one is as impressed with your possessions as you are.
- The greatest teacher is called ‘’doing’’.
- Anything you say before the word ‘’but’’ does not count.
- Criticize in private, praise in public.
- You can’t change your past, but you can change your story about it.
- To learn from your mistakes, first laugh at your mistakes.
- Instead of asking your child what they learned today, ask them who they helped today.
- Embrace pronoia, which is the opposite of paranoia. Choose to believe that the entire universe is conspiring behind your back to make you a success.
- Very few regrets in life are about what you did. Almost all are about what you didn’t do.
